It’s hard to believe that this tournament started 33 years ago with two fools having $100 Nassau matches when neither one could barely break 90! (yours truly and Harry Andrews). What started with a few foursomes coming out to watch the carnage has now grown to 100 golfers for the coming year. As usual everyone will be responsible for their own lodging accommodations. Rooms are fairly inexpensive anywhere you choose to stay. I had to turn many players away last year so this year we are increasing the number to 100 players and I've already sent the deposit, so get your checks to me ASAP. We have 40 spots available for a practice round on Wednesday, March 30, at the Mojave Resort, with a cost of $65 (payable at the course). There will also be an optional skins game on Wednesday. Let me know when you send your check if you want to play on Wednesday (11:30 tee time). Both Thursday and Friday will be a 0800 shotgun start.

The Paramutual paid $43 per $5 bet, with a pool of $4,025. Between Prize money, Skins, Closest to the Pins and the Paramutual, total payouts this year reached another all-time high of $17,608. The big winner was Rick Spelman ($914) with A. Moore a close second ($863). We had 96 players, with 82 cashing some kind of ticket! Thank you all again for your participation.
